A SINGER SHOWCASE EVENT (and jam session)?
- We are considering doing at least one (trial) Singer Showcase Event.
- Coordinators request that interested singers contact us by Email. eugenejazz@gmail.com
- Singers will be requested to collect the music in advance for up to three tunes that they would like to sing.
- At the Showcase session, singers will be required to provide that music to those instrumentalists who will play with them, when a song is in a key other than that of the classic 'Real Book'.
- Singers are encouraged to, in advance, arrange for other players who will accompany them.
- For those who do not have sufficient players to support their singing (and to perform instrument solos as is normal at our sessions), the needed house band member(s) will fill it in.
